Homewood Suites by Hilton Toledo-Maumee

I was traveling from CT to MN with my pets. I chose this hotel over others due to high sustainability scores, breakfast included, and a pet friendly score since so many people travel with their pets. The room had a kitchenette, living room, bedroom, and sink separate from toilet/ shower. I like the multiuser hand soap, lotion, conditioner, rinse, and body wash as less wasteful. Bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was hot with scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits, and sausage for meat eaters. There was hot oatmeal (NOT dry packets), dried cranberries, milk, yogurt with blackberries, and dried fruit. The staff were paid nearly $16/hr. and got along well with each other. As a courtesy to female travelers, the lobby bathroom provided women with necessary sanitary supplies.

The Homewood Suites is exactly what we needed for our 3 night stay in Maumee for The Solheim Cup. The rooms were large, clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was what we expect when we stay in a hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. It is an older property so there were dings and nicks in some furniture. But for the price and what we were using it for, it was fine.
